Federation för kommunal verksamhet (Fedkom) is a federation designed specifically for Swedish municipalities and their service providers.
Fedkom enables federated authentication and attribute exchange using SAML 2.0 between participating municipalities and service providers.
Participation in Fedkom is restricted to:
Swedish municipalities acting as Identity Providers (IdPs)
Service providers delivering digital services to municipalities
Other public entities, authorities, regions, or governmental agencies are not within the scope of Fedkom.
Fedkom is purpose-built to support the needs of the Swedish municipal sector.
