This Technical Profile defines the normative technical framework for participation in federations and access solutions operated or supported by Internetstiftelsen using the SAML 2.0 Web Browser SSO (WebSSO) Profile.
It establishes mandatory requirements, security baselines, and interoperability constraints for Identity Providers (IdPs) and Service Providers (SPs) implementing SAML 2.0 WebSSO.
Federation- or solution-specific requirements, policies, or deviations must be defined in separate documents referencing this profile. Additional requirements are defined and governed within each federation’s or access solution’s policy framework.
