Fedvis Components, Standards, and Relationships

Fedvis' SAML 2.0 federation comprises a central metadata repository that contains the SAML Identity Provider and Service Provider metadata of all members. The technical requirements imposed on members' SAML implementations, as well as the metadata, are defined in the Fedvis SAML Technical Profile. The Attribute Profile outlines rules and requirements for the attributes to be used in the federation, specifying which attributes are included in the SAML Assertion.
