Metadata contains the technical information required for integration between federation members. Members upload their IdP or SP metadata to the federation, and the federation then aggregates all member metadata into the federation's metadata. The federation metadata is subsequently signed and published to guarantee the integrity and availability of the metadata.
Members can upload and manage their metadata in Federationsadmin.

Validator
To access the metadata validator, navigate to the "Metadata" section in the menu within Federationsadmin. This built-in tool allows you to validate your metadata against the current SAML metadata rule set, ensuring it meets all necessary requirements and standards.
