Metadata is the technical information required for integration between members in the federation. Members upload their IdP or SP metadata to the federation operator, and the federation operator aggregates all member metadata into the federation metadata. The federation metadata is then signed and published to guarantee the integrity and availability of the metadata.
Members can upload and manage their metadata in Federationsadmin.
